The motto “Lead the least to the best” we run two community colleges; one at Demdima, West Bengal and another at Nadini, Chhattisgarh. Community College is an innovative educational alternative that is rooted in the community providing holistic education and eligibility for employments to the disadvantaged. At Present three courses are offered; Nursing Assistants, Tailoring and Computer studies. Many girls find it difficult for their further studies. So our community colleges give them opportunity to attend Nursing Assistance Course. Most of these girls,who completed their studies in our community colleges are working in different hospitals namely, Nazarath Hospital Allahabad, Mariampur Hospital Kanpur, Our Lady of Graces Hospital Sardhana etc. At present this course is affiliated as approved training partner of National Skills Development Co-operation under the Non – Funding Scheme for three years. This scheme facilitates and helps the community colleges to get the students national recognized certificate from the Government. 109 students are enrolled with NSDC Non-funding Scheme for Computer, Tailoring and Nursing Assistant. Sr. Pheena and Sr. Amos, Sr.Liza Pulickal and Sr. Annet Kootala are tirelessly working for the development of these Community Colleges. Sisters are keeping close contact with the parents and the family members of their students.
